Yeah every place has a similar problem but the worst part here is that other states like California have sent and are still sending their homeless people here and actually buying them plane tickets to come here and just dumping it on us where we don't have the resources or money to take care of them. So now there are some large homeless encampments all over Honolulu and they estimate that there are 7,000-10,00+ homeless people on Oahu which is ridiculous. But the city has started going in and clearing these encampments especially the ones on beaches and near the tourist areas like in Waikiki so the government here is trying to figure out what to do with them all and they were thinking of moving and building them a place on an island offshore in the harbor and also sending a lot back to the mainland.
