>Canadians are fundamentally different from Americans

When will this meme end?
>>
>>52384598
Canadians are just snide, arrogant Americans tbqh
>>
>there are more people living in Whitehorse than Yellowknife
Mind blown.
>>
>>52384598
Wait, the Canadian metric for "Densely populated" is >50 persons/km^2? That's fucking nothing.
>>
>>52384896
What I'm wondering about is how deserted Ontario is at latitudes where Alberta and Saskatchewan are still evenly populated.
>>
>>52385029

The cold sea in Hudson Bay cools it down I think
>>
>>52385016
50/sqkm is 1.4 times the US average. 29 US states are emptier than that.
>>
>>52385029
Northern Ontario is what we call the Canadian Shield: just pine forests and lake, mountains on a rocky underground. Saskatchewan and the Prairies us another type of soil more welcoming for crops.
>>
Where's Montreal?
>>
>>52385161
>>52385029
Also its part of the canadian sheild, rocky terrain that makes farming difficult. Alberta and Saskatchewan are prairies and lend themselves to farming.
>>
>>52384598
How do I get a humble job in a sparsely populated region?

>>52385344
compare this image with the population density map

Become a lumberjack. You just need an axe, a good build and some hairs sticking out of your flanel shit and youre set

I got that covered.
At this point my plan would be to travel there or USA or Mexico as a tourist and then illegally making my way into the north :^)

The reason becomes strikingly clear when you look at a map with water bodies on it. Try to overlay OP's map on top of this in your head.
>>
>>52385806
hope you are white, rural canada is pretty damn racist
>>
>>52385477
Manchuria would be more accurate
>>
>>52385944
are you retardo? People naturally tend to live near bodies of water. Water == life.
>>

the cultural difference between canada and america is linear, so no one in their right minds would expect a massive culture shock when crossing the border.

for example, washingston, oregon, and british columbia are all very similar.

another example is northern new england and the canadian maritimes which are both similar culturally.

that being said, there are noticeable differences in the average canadian vs the average american (generally speaking).

They'll probably kill him because they mistake him for a basque or something.

Didnt basques found one of the earliest settlements there, a whaling outpost? Theres gotta be some animosity there

I don't look like a typical portuguese man so... I have been confused for a russian man while studying in the UK (portuguese english accent is similar to russian accent) and I even had a couple of blonde ukranian immigrant qt3.14s initiate conversation with me in a social security queue here in Portugal.

Whatevr I skipped through an image folder and found him relevant to my desire to move to Canada.

I'm not of full portuguese descent, is what I ultimately meant with my previous posts.

Be nice. People do tend to settle near water but our country has an absurd amount of lakes, building roads through northern manitoba, saskatchewan and alberta would have been a logistical nightmare.
