Nah, the structures in Latin America are about as old as this stuff. The Inca empire only started in the 1430s. Obviously they built on what came before, but it is not much older than this stuff. Also their architecture was a bit less advanced because they mostly just rubbed stones together with sand in between them so that they fit together perfectly. They didn't have iron tools to do really detailed stuff. And then in Mexico/central America, they have older architecture but I don't think it's by a huge amount and it's also mostly stone age/bronze age stuff. But you've got to keep in mind that new world civilizations didn't have many others to copy from/trade with like old world ones did. The terrain even kept the Andes and mesoamerica fairly out of contact with each other, so they had to discover almost everything on their own.

Obviously it's easy to leave mountains than it is to invade them, but still all their military was adapted to their geography, they probably wouldn't perform as well outside of it. Also idk what resources they would want that they didn't have but existed in the rest of sub Saharan Africa, they were still feudal so they didn't have quite the need for raw materials that early capitalist European empires had.
