I've been training to get things in English and starting thinking.
Being curious to know how you guys learn(ed) English, I started a thread.
Why don't talk about it?
Invited: people who have (had) trouble at English
Not invited/No advice: native English speakers, people who have (had) no trouble at English, Nordic people
I'll start. I use Grammar in Use. How about you guys?

You kind of set yourself up for failure with all the people you told not to post.
It seems you're asking for native English speakers not to give you advice too. I'm not sure what's up with that crazy line of thinking

>Implying you learn english by watching tv as a kid
That's a good idea. But we don't understand what people on TV say unless we learn vocabulary and Grammar.

It's easier when you're a kid, I was pretty much fluent in English when I was like 5.

In Japan English TV programs are dubbed into Japanese or broadcasted less. So I look for some videos on the Net. Like BBC learning English.
