Since our stupid currency is now worth toilet paper, I decided to exchange what was left from my savings for Euros, before it got worse.

I learned the 500 euro notes were cheaper than the rest so I bought them, are these are accepted normally in stores in Europe? what do people normally use these for?, pic very related.

Do you think that's unique or even high? It isn't, that's shit tier depository insurance.

>We don't use debt as a currency though.

A debit card is a more convenient way of spending money than carrying cash around all the time. You put your cash (or a check) into a checking account, and you can swipe your debit card to deduct money from that account to pay for your purchases.

> Also our national banking system is very stable

Of course it is just like our own?

I'd rather use a credit card than a debit card. You basically get to float the money you spent. Fraudulent activities don't touch your checking account.

Just make sure you pay the fucking thing off.
>>
>>52205743
You can use 500€ in most shops near the Champs Elysées and in rich areas without raising an eyebrow. If you have your old bank slips showing your savings, you could open a bank account and deposit the money on it.
If you can prove you earned that money legally, you can deposit them in your account in your bank's ATM if you already have a European account.

A debit card can't go into the red so I can't make any debts with it. That's what I meant. I use mine too but i'm paid off the books in my second job so I also have relatively large amounts of cash available.
Also I fucked up the 100k part. That is the private depository insurance. The government announced an unlimited guarantee.

>We don't use debt as a currency
>euro
The euro zone is sitting at something like 92% debt (as a percentage of GDP). Which means that EVERY European country that doesn't use the Euro has a lower debt. Admittedly, Germany did an excellent job with the D-mark. But even so, it simply isn't possible to run an economy well when half of the countries in the monetary union spend money frivolously and put themselves into catastrophic debt the second you let your eyes off them.
>>
>>52206407
Actually we surrendered our currency to get the east back.

>>52206233
If you opened an account in a bank present in your country as well, you could use it to keep your savings. Just be sure they have a physical place you can go to deposit the money in your city, unless you prefer to transfer it from your colombian bank to the european one.

500 euro notes are for putting into the ATM or buying expensive shit.

While nearly all grocery stores have those little scanner things to check if the note is real, generally, there is nothing you can buy where the cashier won't give you the stink eye for paying with a 500.
>>
>>52204903
$100s are our biggest notes. I see dozens every day, but I sell guns (at a federally licenced dealer), and people prefer to pay cash for guns, because then there's no Visa bill to argue with them when they lie to their wives about how much they spent.

Cash is not just for the poor. Cash is for people who don't like having to deal with calling to lift their fraud prevention to place a large purchase, for people who have an easier time visualizing their expenses when everything is doled out in physical form (Cash carriers are documented to buy less extra crap they don't really need), and for people who don't wish to share a record of their purchase amount with other people.

I have a customer who has on more than one occasion dropped over 3 grand on German rifle scopes in crisp $100 bills, he purchased his house with a cashier's cheque for 1.6 million USD, and daily drives a Porsche Carrera GTS that he purchased with a briefcase full of cash. He is a realestate agent, and often has cash because his principle customers (often Potato or Beet farmers) pay for the vacation properties they buy through him in cash, resulting in him collecting commission in cash.

Potato farmers are rich as shit, even if they drive rusty pickup trucks and dress in Wranglers, boots, and flannel, my biggest commission was selling a 1907 Holland and Holland double in .500/450 NE to a potato farmer who was going to Safari.

My 5% cut was $26,000.

Cash.

>>
>>52206690
Just over half a mil, $520,000.

I'm confident I won't have to fight for the second amendment, I've done my part to introduce 70 million new people to gun ownership since 2008, but I've done enough government paperwork to know that I can't fight for the second amendment.

The fight for the second amendment would be the fight that grows from the reaction to what will happen to me and men like me.

I'm too well documented of an entity to do anything but wake up to a raid that I can't resist without causing the deaths of the rest of my family, if push comes to shove.

But by introducing neophytes to their gun rights, selling 50 AR-15s just to people who've never owned one just since that act of terrorism in California, and in participating in the trillion dollar private arms industry, I help to create an environment where the Left makes noises about gun control to please the loudest idiots in their base, but never actually does anything about it because they know it will gut their political power in bastion states like my native Minnesota.

Gun rights are a culture war. The best thing I can do to fight for them is help to make guns ubiquitous.
