What are some /Int/ approved games
>EUIV is god tier.
>cant understand why ppl don't like it.
it's not as cool as vicky 2 but vicky 2 doesn't look as good
so if vicky 2 was updated with better graphics and a longer span then you can know why ppl don't like it

Victoria 2 was good but i didn't quite understand the economic systems and production.
I like CIV IV and V to be quite honest fámilia

>get horny every time I read Futa Jallon
Damn you Paradox
Pic very related.
EU4 and Civ 5 is nice and all but if you want my personal approval, tell me you're playing Monster Hunter.

People do like EU4, it's just long-running tradition over at /vg/ which forces people to hate it. Also, good luck finding grand strategy that people can agree isn't terrible.
>>52166078
people hate it because /vg/ is hipster

Hello Johan, I didn't know you posted on 4chan
>>52166187
the eco was brilliant with the factories and global resource production, it forces a "real" aspect of demand/supply into a grand strategy game + the regular tax and rebellion mechanics
then there are the population for the different parties and elections and stuff
and how tech is correlated to literacy instead of some baseline dependency on the ruler
idk these little things make the game make more sense but gamewise not much different

Take all my money Johan

Sup, famous Estonian game developer. EU4 is actually plagued with issues like shitty peacetime and snowballing, but I enjoy it enough to play for 100 years and then start as another nation.
What does /in/ think of Anno?
>>52166392
/v/ and /vg/ are contrarian*
Mount and Blade.
>>52166078
EU4 is good, but I've heard it's the worst Paradox game.
>>52166497
I like the future one
>>52166497
Takes too much to run well. One of the worst optimised games for graphical quality I've ever played.
Heard lots of good about the game itself though (the last one, not the new one)
Mount and blade with the 1257 mod and Medieval 2 total war with either Bellum Crucis or Stainless Steel are very /int/

EVERY FUCKING TIME
>>52166536
the new one is absolute shit, it's a shame they're allowed to market something so bad
but I think the best one is 1404 and it has a comfy medieval German aesthetic

[ ] Ok... [x] REBEL
>>52166078
I always get horny when I play Paradox games.
>>52166728
Does look comfy? What kind of game is it? My understanding is the newer one(s) are about industry vs green type development. How does that compare?
Age of Empires 2 is always a great choice for /int/
>>52166812
city builder
>>52166812
It's the same deal without the industry/eco thing. You start off in occidental islands and you keep trying to satisfy your highest classes until you start needing to communicate with Arabs so that you can keep an oriental colony and ship in supplies like spices, quartz, copper, etc.
If you like Anno 2070, you'd like it since 2070 is essentially a reskin, lol. 1404 is my favorite one so far.

She is a beast but it's always a pain having a civil war in the middle of the continent.

>better graphics
got you familia (but only for EU IV)
