Do you not?
>>
there are trade schools, a foreign concept to a german mayhaps
>>
it's not college, it's tech school. completely different and a lot shorter. same thing as an apprenticeship really.

trying to bantz us for wanting people to be certified to work on your plumbing is pretty dumb lol
>>
Don't Germans have to dress in faggy outfits and tour about the country for a year hitting up all the queer brothels in order to get a trade?
>>
>>52165556
>>52165567

I actually thought that you guys are perfectly fine with high school education when it comes to these kinds of jobs.
>>
>>52165599
No mate, when the Germans put on outfits they invade Poland.
>>
>>52165532
it's like a tafe or polytechnic or tech school not a university you dumb kraut and you have to do that in every civilised country.
>>
>>52165612
not really you do have to get licence for those jobs
>>
>>52165612
need skills to get jobs, and customers want to know you're properly trained
>>
>>52165612
nope, you need to learn how to actually do the job and certifications are a good way to prove that you know what youre doing
>>
>>52165612
you can go to a tech high school, you might be able to be a barber straight out of HS if you go to one of those but you'd prolly have to do like a year at a tech college for pluming/electrician.

i dont know everything about it because i never did any of that
>>
Real talk then: How do Germans get qualified to do either of those things then? Or do you just import them from MENA?
>>
>>52166044
You have to do a apprenticeship, you're working 70%, the other 30% youz have to visit a school where you learn stuff about your job. You get paid 600-1000€ for the 3 years you're still learning.
>>
>>52169917
600-1000 a month, of yourse
>>
>>52165532
To be a plumber it is an apprenticeship, just like electrician, it is 95% field work, and a few hours of classes.
>>
>>52169917
Plumber apprentice here makes around $2500 a month for first 4 years, then they get their license and make much more.
>>
>>52170039
a plumbers starting salary is 2000€ here, if you're lucky. Before taxes, so it's more like 1500.
>>
>>52170106
After you get your license, or journeymans card as we normally call it, you can make $26 to $40 an hour depending on the area, and if you are in a union.
I bid jobs they work on, we charge out at $90 an hour for them from the company.
It's good money if you want to sometimes work with shit and sewage.
>>
>>52170039
Being a plumber must be a lot more attractive of a job in places where it's cold most of the year.
>>
>>52170274
You're talking about self-employed people right?
I was talking about employed workers, they get cucked hard.
>>
>>52165532
Just like me
>>
>>52170341
It's get very cold and snowy here, half of our plumbers are off for 5 months. I'm off until April.
We only have a service crew now.
>>52170401
No, these are guys that work for us. Our master plumber, the guy that can pull all the permits makes more money than the owner of the company does.
>>
>>52170341
A master plumber can easily make $200,000 in Australia.

It is literally a job that you get out exactly what you put in

My Uncle has been a plumber for 35 years and never once had a day where he didn't have his backlog full

>>
>>52172835
It's everywhere like that m8
>>
>>52165612

If you could get a job as an apprentice to a plumber, maybe. We have vocational school here for skilled blue collar labor.
