This is a map I posted the first 2 days on /int/, it caused massive butthurts, but it's factual.
Red is historically relevant.

oh yeah this is a version where I cut out Africa and South-America because people were getting too butthurt over it

Should colour Sweden and Lithuania red. Sweden was very important in the hundred years war, and Lithuania had a pretty huge empire around the 1400s and they were the last pagan state in Europe.

>Sweden was very important in the hundred years war
Thirty years war, I mean.

actually army of mongols was full of turkic tribes
about 70%
mother of Genghis khan was from turkic tribe Qiyat
so Kazakhstan would be red

Wouldn't Canada have at least, if not more (considering Viking settlements) history as America?
>>52082253
Actually, Czechia was the first protestant country and resisted 4 crusades so it should be red

Indonesia and Malaysia should be read, if just for geographical location is nothing else. The Spice islands were extremely important from the ancient world to the age of discovery.
Also, if you're going to colour Tunisia red because of Carthage, whom they have no relation too other than geographical location, you should colour Mexico and Peru for the Aztecs and Inca.
I'd also argue that Sudan (for Nubia), Ethiopia, and Somalia should be red.

More relevant than Canada, that's for sure.
