I really hope that they won't use autistic names but I'm quite pessimistic about it.
>Bourgogne-Franche-Comté
>Normandie
FUCK, YEA !
>Centre Val de Loire
"Centre" is useless, let's just call the region "Val de Loire"
>Alsace Champagne-Ardenne Lorraine
>Bourgogne Franche-Comté
>Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
>Languedoc-Roussilon Midi-Pyrénées
>Aquitaine Limousin Poitou-Charentes
>JustFuckMyNameUp
>>52054295
>Flandre-Picardie
>Île-de-France
>Grand Est
>Bourgogne
>Auvergne-Alpes
>Provence
>Midi
>Aquitaine
>Val de Loire
>Pays de la Loire
>Bretagne
>Normandie

They make no sense whatsoever ...
It takes more than 5 hours to go from Cantal (south west of so called Auvergne Rhône Alpes) to Savoie (eastern part of this new region)
>>52054206
By the way FN will get BTFO tomorrow
>>52054295
blame the republicans
they wanted to destroy regional identity so they JUST'd your names and regions up
you probably already knew this tho
>>52054483
>Grand Est
HIIIISS

I have to tell you that as an American, I find this complaint about states/regions amusing.
>>52054725
Well Alsace-Champagne-Lorraine sounds silly.
>tfw it will never be called Lotharingia
>>52054903
i dunno i like the sound of champagne :)
>>52054903
>Lotharingia
Sound badass
>>52054799
The US is a huge country, therefore regional identity is weaker than France's. Saying someone from Cantal is culturally the same as someone who grew up in Savoie is preposterous ... it'd be like saying someone from Vermont is the same as someone from Louisiana.
>>52054994
The US is a huge country but it's also a recent one*
>>52055464
Yes, that is true. I must not admit to fully understanding the other guy's regional thing though.
A few months ago I went to a concert in Chicago. To drive home took nine hours with a few detours (would have been 6-7 hours otherwise), I only was in three states the whole time, kek
>>52055891
There's no other guy since I corrected myself, I had just forgotten the country-size point.
Yea, the difference in scales is quite impressive, 9hours is what it takes to go from Northern to Southern France using the highway.

>The French have a region named after Champagne and Quiche Lorraine
>The French have a region where they misspell the name of their own country (Franche)
>The French have a region named after Limousines
>The French are such NEET losers they have an entire region where normies are killed on sight (Normandie)

What do you guys think about my 15 regions?
>>52056340

>>52056191

That's Bretagne. They're a shithole full of lefties, proning
>muh equality
when they have close to 0 mudslimes.
Auvergne is pretty based imo, grew up there, nice people and architecture, and most important good food (look up for Saint Nectaire)
>Aquitaine is not English
>Calais is not English
>>52057374
>England is not Normande
Fuck it !
>>52056834
which one is the worst? Besides the obvious paris/ p.a.c.a./calais. Is Alsace-lorraine c.ucked too?
OP back, I don't know anything about French local geography but I am happy my little thread got replies. I just knew the regions would change soon.
I imagine this like being "Oklahoma-Texas-Louisiana" a new state. The names seem quite awful that way, it's stupid and too much to say?
