>be foreigner visiting London
>I'm 5 foot 11 or 1.80m
>every average working class guy is way shorter than me, look around 1.70 to 1.75
>every business man or professional looking person fucking towers over me, some look as tall as 6 foot 6, all seem to be at least over 1.90
Care to explain yourselves, bongs? Is your country really so hung up on class that your upper middle to upper class literally has different genetics than everybody else? I am aware that taller people are generally more likely to be hired for jobs, but I have never seen anything this drastic before.

Working class generally eat shitty food though, it affects growth.
>>
It's a classist society. The malnourished poor working class guys of yesterday fathered the malnourished poor working class guys of today and their children will become the malnourished poor working class guys of tomorrow.

And people bitch about America being stratified. Most of the wealthy people I know (400-600k/year) are working class business owners. Plumbers, truck drivers, and electricians.

Capitalism keeps third world countries poor, and that's a good thing, tbqh f@m.

That's the case here too, my bosses at my job are 5'11" to 6'4," the only people down at my height are the grunts

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Height_discrimination#Height_and_social_discrimination

>Economists Nicola Persico, Andrew Postlewaite and Dan Silverman explained the "height premium" and found that "a 1.8-percent increase in wages accompanies every additional inch of height". They also found that men's wages as adults could be linked to their height at age 16. The researchers found that on an average an increase in height by one inch at age 16 increased male adult wages by 2.6 percent. This is equal to increase of approximately $850 in 1996 annual earnings. In other words the height and corresponding social experiences of taller male adolescent at age 16 would likely translate to higher wage in later adulthood as compared to shorter male adolescent.

How does capitalism keep third world countries poor?

Does whether or not you're 1.70 or 1.90 really hinge entirely upon diet, though? It's pretty terrifying that there seems to be an entire strata of society with "peasant" genetics with no chance of upward mobility.

I had no idea it was that drastic. All of my bosses have been short guys thus far in my life.

The World Bank and IMF imposses neo-liberal open market policies on them, while the first world has protected closed markets.

what

>Italians and Montenegrins both skip breakfast and gorge on bread during every meal
>one is a nation of hobbits and the other is a nation of ogres

It's genetics + diet and health

>while the first world has protected closed markets.

The third world countires that fared the worst were the ones that tried to monopolize trade to benefit their domestic companies. The most successful ones took the strategy of China, India, and Singapore by making themselves useful to Western interests in the tech field. This isn't even counting countries like Saudi Arabia that had mineral wealth to offer.

Malnourishment does not necessarily mean a lack of food. If you diet consists mostly of cheap beer and deep fried mars bars you can be malnourished despite being fat.
