Fairly much every country in Europe got wrecked in little over a month by the blitzkrieg.
Poland got fucked up in about 35 days, France in about 45days and most of the smaller countries in less than 10. Its not like the French didn't inflict any casualties either, they did fuck the Germans up a bit.

what I learned was that german armored divisions just went around the maginot line through belgium and surrounded a lot of the french army, and a lot of french/british troops had to be evacuated across the channel

Many French soldiers were sent to Prussia as labor on family farms, but wound up fighting for the Germans after getting emotionally attached to the people there and feeling the threat of the Soviet advance
Others saw the Soviets as a way to help liberate France from German rule, and in some cases Frenchmen wound up fighting each other
