People even cross 5 lane streets in the middle of the city during heavy traffic and just climb over the concrete separator thingies in the middle of the road, if you know how to you can survive there though the traffic looks way more timid when filmed out of the side. Drivers view is always frightening because cars come speeding at you heads on and only swerve back to their lane in the last second before collision and all that.
I haven't seen pedestrian traffic lights when I was there. Actually I haven't seen any traffic lights at all, probably because no one would bother to follow them as they're not even able to stay in their own lane even though they have markings.
