I fucking hate flag snobs. There are these dudes on 99% Invisible podcast and in the design sphere who all think they know what makes a good flag. Got news for you bud, your coffee table Kickstarter book on design and your 2-year degree doesn't mean you know shit. The problem with these flags is that they almost all universally run into the problem of oversimplification. When every flag is nothing but geometric shapes, meaning becomes lost because of abstraction. It might mean something to the creator, but not to anyone else.
