You need very deep knowledge of metalurgy to produce the engines, programming and chip making to produce the computers, chemical processes to refine the best fuel or make the strongest tires or build that bullet proof acrylic dome.
To say the least, even with the ACTUAL FUCKING PLANS, one does not merely build a fighter plane.
