For a while, they divided the states up by who could have slaves and who couldn't. Then we had a war with Mexico and got MORE land and we had no idea what to do with it.

You mean the Republic of Moldova. Moldova is split between the Romanian part and the Republic part. Moldova was once a united country before it United with Wallachia. After WWII, the rurkies annexed half of the Moldovian part of Romania and intgrated them into the Soviet Union. After the Soviet Union collapses, the Republic of Moldova was supposed to reunite with Romania (kinda like East and West Germany) but the Soviets left lost of Rurkies in the Republic of Moldova and they also took a shit in the heads of Moldovans, making them retarded. We didn't reunite because most people don't want to. The retarded Moldovans don't want to, the Russians on Moldova don't want to and there is also this unrecocnised communist part of Moldova, called transtrinstria that would cause a lot of problems if Moldova would reunite with romania. Not to mention that unlike east and west Germany, Romania has a mediocre economy, while Moldova is downright poor. It would cause a lot of economical problems

The only people that really want reunification with Moldova in Romania are retarded nationalists. They think that it would be like reuniting like East and West Germany did. West Germany had a fully developed economy while East Germany had a mediocre economy, so it worked out. In our case, Romania has a mediocre economy and Moldova is genuinely poor. It would work out economically, but retarded nationalists don't care about that. Also, if we were to reunite, Moldovans would vote for shit Socialist politicians. Western Moldova doesn't have that weird Russian-sounding accent. It's just a more fast paced with a slavic nuance. Here in southern Moldova we turn every word that ends in e into someone that ends in a mongrel of i and e, everything that ends in ă is turned into â, and şi into şî. And most of them use this accent, and no one makes fun of it in school or something.
