Do other countries actually believe Americans get denied medical care if they don't have enough money?
>get ill
>go to hospital
>can't pay 2139812731298361238 $
>be handcuffed
Only when you have bad insurance and a serious illness.

Americans will be reluctant to go to the hospital if they know they can't afford it.

People will get treatment. They will also receive a fat bill with it, however.
And the crazy thing is that American hospitals literally work like businesses - they would perform every test on you, as silly as it is, just to rack up the bill.
>friend of mine has a severe cold and goes to a doctor
>he would seriously not let her leave without having her do three pregnancy tests
>bill for simple antibiotics he prescribed to her comes in
>literally in the upper 3 digit numbers
>Non-Americans think they aren't paying for their healthcare

Except we pay the actual costs and little more
not extremely ramped-up market prices, like 300 USD for "lab equipment" that I can grab for free at my hospital

>die
>family sue dumb yank doc who thinks insulin treats diabetic shock
>still can't afford emergency med bills

We have mandatory insurances. A bit like what America is now trying to implement. But here you got to pay yourself for small things and if it becomes too much (360+ euros in total per year) then the insurance takes over and pays for everything. In America the exact opposite happends and the insurance pays everything until it becomes too expensive for you.

We are paying for our healthcare not to the endless pockets of the jew-doctors.
