I mean, it's not like Japanese spies went in and stole the secret recipe for ramen noodles, and then claimed that they invented it.
It just became popular in Japan, and the world came to know ramen noodles via Japan.
I would still consider ramen a Japanese thing, since they developed it further and brought it to the world.
In Australia we have dim sims, which aren't Chinese at all. but people think they are. They're an Australian invention, and every fish and chip shop and Chinese restaurant in the country would sell them. They're just meat and vegetable mixture in a batter that's been steamed or fried.
They're still considered Chinese though.

Japan doesn't have any problems
In all honesty, when I went, everyone just seemed so peaceful and happy. I'm from Melbourne, and if you go to the city of the weekend there's bound to be some protest. The city is full of young angry liberal uni students and busy office workers (サラ). In Japan, you have busy people, but they seem so drained and dead inside that they just fit into the crowd, and don't give a fuck. Either that or they're really happy and friendly. Everyone walks around being angry about news and politics in Australia, but that doesn't seem to be the case in Japan. They just do what they've gotta do.
