Well they are not entirely based on Sweden but you can play as the country in Civ 5 and Empire: Total War. Also a playable faction the the warband standalone With Fire & Sword, where it more or less was the community favourite nation. Europe Universalis 4 features a lot of countries but due to the devs being Swedish there is a lot more "flavour" in a Swedish playthrough compared to other nations with a bunch of pretty OP events.

Yeah it's pretty awesome, I'm probably slightly biased though because I've been to a lot of the places they take environments from. It's quite similar to Diablo 2 though and it doesn't add anything that hasn't been done before in a hack & slash (apart from the insane levelling system they use) but what it does, it does very well.
It's F2P though and I would've preferred to just buy it, there's no microtransactions beyond pet skins and the like but I don't like having my games be always online
