Dude, the bourbon barrel adds such a beautiful new level. Imagine all the good of bourbon without all the bad alcohol taste and then stout.
Also have a six pack of this. It's meh. Had it plenty of times before. Not amazing but definitely not awful.

Never had it but Belgian beers just have a certain taste other beers do not. I don't know how to describe it but it's delicious. Belgian whites are one of my favorite styles.
This was my absolute favorite beer when studying in Germany.
Shame I can't find it anywhere in the states. I think they export to a very select few areas.

A lot of the wheat beers are in general. Weißbier dunkel is a bit darker and looks more like a "normal beer"

A large part of it is the yeast. Belgians are masters at creating unique flavors with yeasts and bacteria.

I have definitely seen Andechs around. One I bought came in a gold label, it may have been a doppelbock which is what I usually buy. Speaking of, Weltenburger Kloster is another great doppelbock. I love dark lager.
