Is there a worse country than China? I think not
>roving capital punishment vans that routinely execute innocent people (whoops)
>many foods cooked in gutter oil, a cooking oil made from waste oil and offal scooped from open sewers
>motherfuckers cook and eat dogs, its not like they're starving they go out of their way to eat dog
>north korea-tier government and freedom of information
>THIS ENTIRE ARTICLE: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Food_safety_incidents_in_China
>Soy sauce made from human hair
>Formaldehyde laced blood pudding
its literally a nightmare dystopia previously only seen in science fiction

China is my go-to example when explaining growth of GDP is not preferable to living standards and governments which increase GDP are not necessarily good arguments.
I don't know why people care so much about being relevant. There's literally nothing wrong with being a small, secure and prosperous nation.

>inb4 20 Australian and Canadian flags show up to defend China

Why would I defend that shit hole?
>>
I remember reading last year that the pollution is also so bad there that a building was on fire for several hours and no one knew because they couldn't see it through all the pollution. Even one of their main rivers regularly changes bizarre colors because they just dump chemical waste into it like it ain't no thang.

Absolutely nothing. As for "animal cruelty", you guys should take a look at factory farms, the treatment of make chicks, and how people make foie gras.

Regarding the consumption of dog meat, The current Chinese 'grandparent' generation have endured living through years of crippling famine at least one point in their lives, Of course this did not extend to every region of China, it still had a huge impact on people's lives. When you've just got cabbage to eat, suddenly that stray dog starts to look mighty tasty.

People did not have anything else to eat, so everything became edible (also acceptable). Attitudes towards this haven't changed much, though some animal welfare groups are emerging and are gaining popularity, like CAPN for instance.

Sure, you can still find dog meat being sold on the menus in China, particularly in parts of Guangdong, and especially in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi province. Consumption of dog meat is declining however and is not popular among the younger generation.

Yeah I'd say the one that

>has mass shootings on the same frequency as somalia,
>is controlled by jews
>has a population who 30% of are obese with 60% over weight but has garbage like fat acceptance, so the entire nation becomesa hug box for fatties
>has academia infested by SJWs which means all progress from that country will most likely stop dead within the next decade as the colleges divert all funding away from actual courses to womens liberal art studies
>is pushing gay acceptance everywhere
>garbage nigger riddled entertainment
>only country in the world that consumes HFC, thereby turning their men into a bunch of flabby soft fattasses with low testosterone,
>has entire cities that are basically violent african warzones
>will soon be either be led by a feminist liberal or a loudmouthed retard
>largest consumer of kekhold porn
>gets so butthurt about another countries success that they are actually pathetic enough to try to demonise them at any opportunity
>largest producer of CO2 per capita
>largest consumer of resources per capita

China far far worse,

my ancestors fled there for a reason, even the Chinese shit in the streets in the millions, you just need to visit places other than Beijing or shanghai, the rural areas everyone shits in the open,

only reason its not widely known is because, the CPC heavily censors news that are critical of their country, and also the language barrier makes it hard for the international agencies to pick up such statistics.

I would never in my lifetime visit China ever,

Even the mainland Chinese tourists shit on the streets and public places when they visit Singapore, imagine the situation when they are in their homeland then .

When Singapore was poor as fuck in the 50's and 60's my grandpa told me you guys were worse than the Chinese he had met in Formosa.

It's always weird seeing ovrseas Chinese whose ancestors were shitting on the streets 50 years ago calling themselves superior to Mainland Chinese. You guys are literally the same people, but the Brits potty trained you

>>
>>51648058
Industrial sector of Jilin, Manchuria.
>>
>>51648058
Actually....

Baotou, Inner Mongolia.

http://www.bbc.com/future/story/20150402-the-worst-place-on-earth
>Hidden in an unknown corner of Inner Mongolia is a toxic, nightmarish lake created by our thirst for smartphones, consumer gadgets and green tech, discovers Tim Maughan.

Watch the video and you'll see the not so "green" side of renewable energy and technology.

>>51648230
Holy shit. What a hellhole. Glad my Gf moved to austria.
>>
>>51648300
Someone has to make it.

And that's just one city in China. Most of China isn't the shithole edgy teens on 4chan make it out to be.

We all like to act superior when in the end, we are all shit. Westerners just happen to have money to make someone else do the dirty work.

continued*

>Unknown Fields has an unusual plan for the stuff. “We are using this radioactive clay to make a series of ceramic vessels modelled on traditional Ming vases,” Young explains, “each proportioned based on the amount of toxic waste produced by the rare earth minerals used in a particular tech gadget.” The idea is to illustrate the impact our consumer goods have on the environment, even when that environment might be unseen and thousands of miles away.
>After seeing the impact of rare earth mining myself, it’s impossible to view the gadgets I use everyday in the same way. As I watched Apple announce their smart watch recently, a thought crossed my mind: once we made watches with minerals mined from the Earth and treated them like precious heirlooms; now we use even rarer minerals and we'll want to update them yearly. Technology companies continually urge us to upgrade; to buy the newest tablet or phone. But I cannot forget that it all begins in a place like Bautou, and a terrible toxic lake that stretches to the horizon.
