And Hungarians stood up to Germans until battle of Mohács, when habsburgs claimed the crown and conquered the Western part of the kingdom. So it was just christianity and Stephen I. (thank you Saint István) kuking Hungarains, not Germans. But for the most part it really happened because of battle of Mohács in 1526 and 150 years of constant wars and turk kuking. The Mongols we could recover, but never really the kebabs.
