The only hope is to control finance reform and cull the effects of lobbyists.

I don't care if he's stalwart on domestic issues, it's the potential to be retarded on foreign policy (the area that the POTUS has far more control over) that's the issue.
An American is naturally far more knowledgeable about the current standing of his own country, but there's a giant world out there and foreign policy is a vortex of information. The natural requirement to be POTUS in that case is to either be a.) cerebrally academic in international politics or b.) listen to advisors who have that expertise.
I'm not sure Trump qualifies for either right now. The moment he turns bellicose, we're fucked. We can't do another war after Iraq and Afghanistan. If a war were to break out with a conventional power (Russia, China, etc.) the lower class would lose because the lower class is who would be drafted. Ultimately the next US election boils down to saving the lower and middle classes from obsolescence, so I'm against that.

I agree with that, and I've seen an interview where he calls open borders a "Koch brothers idea," which is exactly right, but his current platform is extremely generous toward immigrants. He wants to make immigrating to the U.S. much easier and he is heavily supporting social programs for their integration (all on top of the legalization of illegal immigrants), especially now to contrast himself with Trump. I like him because of his policies on campaign finance reform, government surveillance, and interventionism, and I would have no problem if corporations and the extremely wealthy were taxed heavier, but I worry that his social and economic policies are totally unrealistic. Obama campaigned on free public universities and healthcare in 2008, we got nothing but the completely castrated Obamacare and talk (no action) on the possibility of two years of free community college. I don't think he could get a tenth of what he wants done through congress, and I don't think he could survive a general election.
