We have a lot of bad history with Russia, a lot of blood has been spilled between us.
It seems that today, we have grown more acceptive of Russia, as if we parted as enemies, but came back as friends. It seems like a lot of Swedes favours a Russian-ruled Sweden more than an American/NATO ruled Sweden. We know we have very little to offer Russia in the long game, but we would be a great military vantage point for America, and we don't want to risk our country nor our relation with Russia by placing NATO bases in our country, for defenses that are utterly needless.
We know you wont invade us as how the country looks right now, we're working on fixing our shit.
