>t. Hueberto Pajeet Singhe

>more than a billion people

Do Indians ever think they might be doing something wrong?
>>
DESIGNATED

>>51509519
What makes it bad is that the number of Pajeets and Changs are essentially equal, but China still has 5 times the gdp of india
>>
brain drain
formerly socialist economy based on overregulation, bureaucracy and corruption
corruption and massive inefficiencies in doing everythng
lack of human capital
political instability
>muh brits ruined everything

also culture of non-materialism, where people sort of just accept their lot in life.
>>
>>51512794
pajeets were richer than changs at one stage, but the market reforms in china and the way china opened itself up to the US meant changs are now far richer pajeets probably will ever be.
>>
>>51509614
Holy fuck European "powers" are pretty much insects compared to the top three.

Tried to find Russia on this list. Looked too high.
>>
>>51509614

we have the smallest territory on the list
>>
>>51513203
i always say though, we have to average out the ENTIRE korean peninsula

can't just do with half of it.
>>
>>51507777
Because they have the population of China, but they're a democracy. You need strict control when you have a population that size.
>>
>>51513278
that may be one f many reasons, but i think there are bigger reasons than that.
>>
Italy based as always

So? What does it matter? Europe is a museum

Not nearly as based as it's supposed to be.

People. Spain has 45-ish million people and $1.2 trillion in nominal GDP. Netherlands has 15 million and like $850bn in GDP.

Netherlands has a higher per capita income, but Spain has more people to make up for the difference.
>>
>>51513419
thanks mario
>>
>>51513347
its true. economic growth essentially comes from innovation.

america innovates because its has different states specialised in different activites, eurpe doesn't, we have different subregions within our tiny ass countries specialised, so our innovative skills are far less than that of the US.
>>
>>51513001
Europe has a greater combined GDP than the US. Militarily, the EU's budget (~$225bn) is second highest in the world, dwarfing China's "$100bn" official (estimates but their real budget at closer to $180bn) defence budget.

Europe also has a tremendous soft power advantage. Europeans can afford to lose $10,000 in income per person and not "really" feel it (of course we'd feel it, but we could live with it). Chinese workers can't really afford to lose $500 a person.
>>
>>51512247
>nominal determines the economy's size

Can this meme end?
>>
>>51513337
You guys are like 5% below your 2008 level.
PPP per capita is even worse. It's down to the 1995 level.
>>
>>51513526
No it really doesn't. It comes from that, and a hundred different factors.

If Britain imports another 10 million pakis and gives them 100 pounds each, you'll have increased your economy by a billion pounds. Yet, productivity and innovation (past ingenious terror attacks) would be down hard.

I believe the most recent "innovation" survey showed the US, Japan, Germany, France, China, and the UK as being in the top 10.
>>
>a country is pathetic and bad if it's not a consumerist, pollutant shithole.

good goy.
>>
>>51513771
>If Britain imports another 10 million pakis and gives them 100 pounds each, you'll have increased your economy by a billion pounds
That's not how it works. Your economy is based upon the amount of goods and services produced within a country. Taking in a million people and just re-allocating wealth does not affect your GDP. In fact, it would make your GDP per capita ratio worse.

>>51513833
but that's exactly what india is
and it fails at being good even with all the shit
>>
>>51513860
this and since labour and capital have diminshing returns, growth out of a steady state level must come from a residual variable

most scholars say that residual variable is precisely technological advancement or innovation.
>>
>>51513322
The reason they shit in the streets is because the government has no real control over them. Also they spend all their money on space programs, although that's probably because the residents don't bother using the toilets that they build anyway.
>>
>>51513001
Sale gros fils de pute, enfant de putain. L’Europe est désormais une seule entité. Et l'UE nique la Chine et les USA.
Pauvre con.
>>
I predict Ger"money", UK and France will no longer be in the top ten by 2035 at the latest.
>>
>>51514076

I think it is because it is in progress. They have not calculated the full year yet

open defecation is mostly down to:
1. lack of toilets
2. in rural areas there is a cultural thing of not shittin where you eat (ie at home) and going out into a random field to shit is considered more hygeinic

its not to do with government control or lackthereof

non per-capita ppp gdp lists tells us that two different sized groups of people can collectively rent different amounts of apartments at different costs

No way.

France looks like it's on the way down. The UK will fall behind India obviously, but we will overtake Germany and probably even overtake Japan later on.

The UK's rightful place when we're not spearheading world scientific and technological revolutions is 4th.
