the country is so big that war happens very far away, in remote areas. it doesn't really affect me in a direct way (maybe except for the fact that one of my uncles in law, a truck driver, was murdered by Farc 15 years ago). Most people is affected i indirectly by it, because of the refugees that come to the city, the impact on the economy, etc.
