Why does the name "Ceвacтoпoль" is translated to "Sebastopol"? Do the translators ignore that the "в" in Russian is not a "B" or is there another reason?
I thought it was Sevastopol?

a Cyrillic 'B' is a Latin 'V'
Usually, I see it translated to English as Sebastopol. When it's translated to French, it's always with a B.

Like during the war with separatists in ukraine, ukrops started saying Luhansk, instead of Lughansk to undermine russia, somehow.
Also, the russians use their language to fit them, not the other way around. It is impossible to get trough the slang let alone translate it in somehting else.
The word Ukrop or Separ somehow is resembled to faggot in russian and ukrainian. Makes absolutely no sense.
Sevatopoly or sevastopol is correct not sebastopol. Someone fucked up with the B or russian V.
