Yeah, some. Vast majority of immigrants are Poles and Lithuanians though. I think something like 98 - 99% of the population are Europeans.
That's just overall though, Garðabær is rather conservative. It's in the capital area and a bunch of right leaning politicians live there alongside business owners and some other rich folk. I grew up in Garðabær myself, nice town. There was one black kid in my entire school and two Japanese (from different families).

Big cities are usually much uglier here in PL than small towns. It is a result of the fact that almost all property in small towns is private, so people care about it because it is their property, while in big cities a lot of buildings belong to the city, so nobody gives a fuck about them
