But keep in mind that we have undeveloped or restrained social institutes, thus it may be hard to sue the state or protect one's private property.

-True, sanctions are considerable. Ruble is going down along with oil, imported food becomes more and more expensive. By rough estimation, food prices grew about 25% since 2014.

The best resource is native speakers. I started practicing on skype/sharedtalk (which no longer exists) immediately. I had like 6-8 people I was regularly talking with.
If you like linguistics and catch on to patters easily, a good reference grammar is better than any language learning text. There's less examples but the explanations are in depth. You'll have to learn vocab some other way though
