Any Québécois here?
I've understood that there is quite strong nationalist spirit in Quebec.
You almost voted for independence in -95.
Do you support the idea of independent state of Quebec?
Do you still have some nationalist parties actively campaigning for independece?
Is the nationalist spirit dying?
Is the internationalism taking over just as in the rest of the world?
Are young people abandoning their roots and native language?
How is your relationship with english canucks?
Quebecois is dirtier than the spanish

>Any Québécois here?
ya
>I've understood that there is quite strong nationalist spirit in Quebec.
Indeed.
>You almost voted for independence in -95.
You're right,
>Do you support the idea of independent state of Quebec?
Not anymore, since the main party for independance is cucked beyond belief (and without a leader too)
>Do you still have some nationalist parties actively campaigning for independece?
Right now there's two imprtant parties, the first I've metionned below, and a smaller one.
>Is the nationalist spirit dying?
Yes it has been. No one really wants to talk about it anymore, but then again the same thing happenned for most of the 80's before the question of independance rised once more in the following decade
>Is the internationalism taking over just as in the rest of the world?
Kinda.
>Are young people abandoning their roots and native language?
Yes, most young people in college/university are more left-wing than their parent's generation
>How is your relationship with english canucks?
It's pretty much none existant. That's why we call it "the two solitudes"
We shouldve put the quebecois in residential schools not the indians
Do you personally stand for sovereignty?
Do you have so called "extremists" there?
Do you think people are just too lazy or sheepy to stand for independence or are they concerned about economic consequences?

Yes

Not anymore
>You almost voted for independence in -95.
Yes
>Do you support the idea of independent state of Quebec?
I don't think it's feasible.
>Do you still have some nationalist parties actively campaigning for independece?
Yeah but they become less relevant everyday, the thing is that there's not a strong pro-independence leader
>Is the nationalist spirit dying?
Yes, young people don't care about it
>Is the internationalism taking over just as in the rest of the world?
Yes
>Are young people abandoning their roots and native language?
Pretty much everyone speaks English fairly well but this is not new
>How is your relationship with english canucks?
Quebec is very close to Ontario, but not so much to the rest of the country
do québécois see De Gaulle as as much of a great man as we do?
is it true québec is on perpetual welfare from canada?
>>62228047
>De Gaulle
He literally fucked up the last remainings of the French empire, how is he considered great again?
>>62228047
Yes they bring nothing of value to the rest of canada
>>62228155
wat
>>62228220
De gaulle fucked our empire m8
He legalized the Freemasonery which Vichy illegalized, and he restored the Crémieux decree which caused the War of Algeria, after that he betrayed our army when he gave the algerian the independance and abandonned the Pieds-Noirs and the Algerians who fought with us.
Degaulle is a traitor.
If quebecois goes to canuck territory or vice versa, is he treated differently there?
>>62228506
Algeria hardly made us an empire
And the war was pointless, we would just have had more terrorism earlier.
And literally who cares about free masons, they don't do much anymore
>>62228506
This, fuck him
>>62228549
We'd rather take someone from Quebec over some smelly Indian or Chink any day honestly
The real problem of Canada and Québec is a lack of dialogue and culture understanding.
If you hate each other so much and Quebec is just a drain to Canada, why don't you just separate?
>>62229243
Why is Swedish an official language in Finland
>>62229764
It's just a historical residue. It really shouldn't be an official language but a recognised minority language.
So you're implying the same answer to my question, I get it.
>>62226464
>It's pretty much none existant. That's why we call it "the two solitudes"
That's why you've got some in-betweeners.
>>62225929
im from quebec and a nationalist but i try to not bring it up
usually angry anglos bring it up first because they need to find something to complain about
>>62230996
oh and the funniest shit is when they say stuff like
>YOU GUYS MADE US CALL YOU A NATION WITHIN A NATION
literally no one cares about this, i didn't even know it was a thing until an angry anglo on here told me that, no one ever calls the indians "the first nations"
