Do you like trains, /int/? How do you like traveling around when you already got to the country you're traveling to?
Let's talk about trains and travels
Pic related
>tfw love trains
>there used to be a station near my house
>get independence
>new government closes a lot of stations
>rails fall into disrepair
>modern trains are overpriced as shit
>drivers keep demanding more money despite doing fuck all work
>modern government insists on building worthless motorways that destroy houses and farmland instead of just reopening the old railroad tracks
Honestly, this country is so small you can get to any part of it in a matter of hours. The politicians just build them because they want to look like they're doing something.
>A foreign anon currently lost in the woods
Dude thats actually really dangerous over here

I have an autistic liking for trains.
I took a high speed train from western Germany to Berlin and it was so comfy, wish I could just stay on a train for a week
>get some time off work
>want to visit parents
>kinda last minute so all airplanes are booked
>17 hour train ride
fuck trains
inb4 some russian claims 17 hours on a train is nothing

It's basically the same story in the UK except people aren't building any roads either, rip. The Victorians knew what they were doing
Love my job t͏͏b͏͏h
>book a seat near window
>sit near wall instead

How do you like your new Polish boss?
Is he doing a good job? I mean became the chief of Ukrainian railways not so long ago but is he trying to change anything?
>>62065262
I've been to Poland a few times and I like your railways. The different companies and stations and ticket rules are ridiculous though, you need to sort that out

Gothenburg - Luleå is 17.5h (the fast train).

I hate when a cunt is walking trough the cart and leaves the doors that are inbetween cars open or semi open and it's loud and shit.
I get so mad, I always stand up and ram the door so he/she turns around and sees me pissed off.
>>62065295
It won't change, because every voivodenship manages their own local rail transport. And people who ride between them usually don't use local train, but a fast train which is operated by a national operator.
>>62065331
Fortunately I don't remember when was the last time I was riding a train without an automatic doors.
>>62065322
Woah, very long route. I would starting becoming mental if I had to sit for 17h straight/

Still shocked by corruption level, cancelled some tenders on passenger wagons.
>>62065408
It's a night train and I've paid for a bed so it's not unbearable.
I did go this route on a sitting ticket once when I was like 16 though, and it was horrible. Tried every possible sleeping position without luck.
>>62065448
Actually this is the cabin I'll have with just three beds.
>>62065448
Fair enough, I forgot about this type of a car. Jeez, Sweden is huge, I'm jelly.

I know he brought some people with himself because he was affraid of local directors of railways showing him the middle finger and still taking money under the table.
He's a brave guy.

They usually parasite on budget and government property. Scrap working locomotives and stole diesel. Even my fucking grandpa in game.
Photo from Nikolaev diesel depot.
BUSTED, kek
trains are old and shit here, railroads have nicer views than roads tho
M-Must be nice to have some.
