They destroyed Europe and were responsible for the deaths of tens if not hundreds of millions of people twice, but we let them rebuild in the end and didn't try to completely take over every aspect of the economy. In contrast the Greeks had a bit of financial mismanagement which was bad, of course, but nothing near such a scale, and the Germans are grinding them down and trapping them in debt to last at least a century if not more, while stealing all of their land along with public services + leaving their old people to literally starve to death without any pensions.
