I used to be able to get around this by saving over the meta data. I rotate once (to an undesired orientation), then save it. Then open it again, and rotate it to my desired orientation, and save it again.
Also, what works better is just taking a screen shot (press home + hold simultaneously) because the photographed files are fucking enormous. I screen capture while I pinch to zoom out. Then I crop out the contents, and the image is now smaller, and it has no rotation meta data.

Thanks, that actually means a lot. I'm most interested in cartooning and I have been lax in my life drawing for sure. I fear I lack the self-direction to take this beyond doodling. Honestly I'm not sure what this is all for, I still need to decide if this is a habit, a hobby, or something I want to eventually make something with.

Yeah that's right, thanks for remembering. The stuff I posted yesterday is new, while the stuff from today I did in college a few years back. I don't really have the art supplies I used to and nowadays usually just draw on loose printer paper with a bic pen, but I definitely need to set up a good art desk and get those brush pens I like. I posted here because I kind of took a break from art because I didn't have any projects in mind. I'm interested in how people react to the stuff I know I can do so I can decide what to use it for. Maybe I could do a comic or get back into animation, I just need a large project that fits my style so I can keep working on it.

Yep. The colors are also scanned in from a palette I made with prismacolor marker, and I simply color that in with the clone tool in Photoshop
