Can you guys give any advice on what can be improved in here. I started drawing lessons in last october and I think its pretty neat, but I think there is something missing.
As far as your style goes, the drawing has all the workings to be a 1940s style drawing of a woman. That said, if you were going for realism the mouth is too far down, and the lines aren't strong enough. The hair has no particular shading and don't be afraid to go very dark with the pencil. The eyelashes are one solid shape rather than the jagged lines that we know eyelashes to be. Finally, there is no sideburns on her, not that she needs full on mutton-chops but a few out of place strands or something would suffice.
