This is a bit hard to explain, but I think it's because her back is arched too far back and her hands aren't going low enough for her to be leaning on the floor that she looks like she's standing. Doesn't help that you didn't draw the legs.
Gonna need to include upper thigh, and with the perspective they will have to splay. Will look oogy and un-natural if they're not at the right angle. Freeze frame some POV stuff and you'll get the arch and angles

Maybe try searching up images of people tying up shoes? Some results look like they could help since they sort of have the same foot pose as that right foot. If not maybe change the foot to be laying flat, that might be a bit easier to illustrate. Or draw the foot first so you can get a better idea how the shoe will fit around it. Hope that helps.

Nah, I'm simply speaking reason. I understand that beginners might be unwilling to listen to someone saying they should simply practice more, but that's the best fucking advice anyone can get. If someone posts a picture that is so fundamentally flawed, that the only way to make it good is to start from scratch, giving specific advice about parts of it only shows that the person who is giving such advice is a beginner too.
The pic we are talking about falls in that category, and that's it. If I wanted to do a redline of it, I would have to redo the complete pose. And even then that person simply wouldn't have enough knowledge to understand what did I actually correct.

I really like your pics and I think I am seeing lots of progress just from the last thread already.
One advice I could give you is to try to use more variation in your line weight.
The contour lines are already stronger than some construction lines, but I'd suggest you ditch the construction lines entirely and try to use more variation on the contours alone. For example apply heavier lines on the objects that are closer, to achieve better depth, and try to give more tension to round objects by thinning the middle part of those lines. See the redline addendum for that.
As for anatomy and perspective you did a great job with this one. There are small errors but they aren't big deal breakers. Check the quick redline regarding those.

I have one. The perspective throughout the entire pic is not well defined. Their faces and heads suggest that the horizon is slightly above their heads, but their bodies aren't affected by this. And vice versa, the bodies suggest that the horizon is somewhere at waist level, which should affect more the upper part of the bodies, especially their heads and faces. Otherwise I don't see any major errors. Maybe just the foreshortening of the right girl's arm, which could be pushed more in the foreground, but that's a nit pick imo. Well, for the standards of these threads, my entire post is nitpicking probably. Just keep doing what you are doing and you'll start seeing all these perspective anomalies on your own very soon.

That is the question, isn't it? I had written a whole diatribe in that post but decided to save it. As much as I hate it, there's a Romantic Reality and a Commercial reality when it comes to art, at least as I see it. Basically, if you want to impress other artists (and if it fulfills you) become a craftsman. If you want to sell things, go for the icing and skimp on the cake. Again I don't like it but I think focusing on commercialism is a valid choice. All that matters is what your goals are in the end, you can't really live your life worrying too much about how people will judge you. I will say though, that if you come to a board specifically about craftsmanship in art you can't really expect to skate by on the excuse that you just want to make money. This place is mainly focused on critique beyond superficial goals so people are going to bring it up anyway.

This is why these threads are probably the only ones where this discussion is truly relevant. Porn already has an expectation of just being a moneymaker, and I feel like it's generally thought of as being cheap and shoddy already anyway. The works that aren't cheap and shoddy always seem to either be so well crafted that they somehow aren't seen as porn anymore, even though they depict sex or nudity or what have you. I think it's because they're either more expensive or just generally rare, which is probably because it's hard to produce well made art so you just have a smaller pool anyway. Or, like Necro's stuff, well made but streamlined so it has max appeal and min production time, but that runs the risk of not satisfying the artist. I want to believe you can but it's hard to see how a solid, sustainable balance is possible.
