Here's the thing about requests,
To say that they are unoriginal is completely grounded. People have been asking for multiple threads, and when they get a delivery they're not averse to requesting the same char again. Sometimes they get a request they're not satisfied with, other times they just want more.
These people are the ones that are open to making requests in the first place, and they are the people who are open to making subsequent requests. Getting new ideas and scenarios from them is not likely.
What about the people with new ideas? Those get dismissed for being obscure or complex, they've been asking for just as many threads but don't get deliveries.
What about the people new to the thread? Shame about them, so boring... right?
No, this is a gross generalisation. If you don't find the requests particularly inspiring then it sounds to me like you don't really enjoy drawing outside of your own interests.
Nothing wrong with that, but blaming people for what they want to see is... well it's not quite fair, is it. You don't really choose what gets you off, to get frustrated at someone for something that isn't their decision to make is pretty irrational.
