These new fuxta-clips are mediocre at best, because the new creators don't even realize what made the original ones good.
It was about changing the shot quickly enough that it creates a proper illusion that the two different things are related. The backgrounds and scenes blend beter when the shot changed quickly.
In other words: not a 2 second clip of a celebrity talking/dancing and then cutting to a zoomed porn clip for 2 seconds and then back.
Worst is when it's a talking head next to a porn clip.

yep this, though it doesn't even have to be that quick, what really matters are that the celeb and porn clip have striking similarities (lighting, clothes, colours) so that you actually get the illusion that they belong together.
