I used the 808 26 camera in 1080p. the quality isn't that bad at least the raw footage i have before i edit and resize it to fit below the 4MB limit here. shitty thing is they are near 100 bucks. i bought 2 of them but one of them started having issues within 3 months, sometimes it works and other times it gets stuck in recording mode without recording anything and it just overheats till the batter runs out. but i cant complain since these puppies have made my dream a reality. (BTW for those who followed my posting this past week i am still alive and well despite my camera getting found about 5 days ago) woohoo!

sorry to say but even though the 808 26 camera shoots in amazing 1080p and its discrete.... it only lasts at most about an hour and a half of non stop use. one thing to keep in mind is that it gets hot like reallllly HOT. thats part of the reason why it has a metal body housing so that it acts as a heatsink since such a small device is shooting 1080p. the camera i have noticed will shut off even if i don't want it to after about 45 minutes due to build up of heat even if i still have battery left. but thats fine with me since my gf's sister at most takes about 40 minute showers.

You are confusing me with the anon that wants a camera. I as oc already have 2 808 26's and plan on getting a battery bank looking one as an extra. I will continue to use the ones that I have, I will just hide them within other objects from now on instead of leaving the camera in plain sight. The only issue with 808 26 cameras are not only do they get really hot while recording which makes it suspicious if she ever picks it up, but also that the SD card slot for the memory card is exposed and not very well hidden. What I ended up doing was just getting black electrical tape and running it along the side it almost looks flush with the remote but if she took the time to inspect it she would probably be able to spot the tape peel it off and see that there's a memory card sticking out. The battery bank camera that I was thinking about getting actually seals the memory card within itself and is not easily detectable unless she take apart the battery camera. That's one of the golden reasons why I want that one even if it shoots in 720p instead of the 1080p that I am used to.

I think the other anon was referring to the 808 26 cameras since those are really the only 808 cameras that get hot since they have a larger sensor for 1080p. Either way I too think it's kind of risky putting it someplace that insulates heat regardless the model camera. Simply because the majority if not all spy cameras no matter how high quality or expensive the camera may be they are generally made with cheap electronics from China they can easily short circuit or overheat causing a fire. Not only with you lose your precious footage, but you may very well burn down the place and expose yourself in one fell swoop lol

Haven't done it yet because no one worthy of recording has visited, but a bathroom vent would be perfect for something like a zetta z12. This model is pretty common, and if you can hassle the maker if there are kinks, it's reliable though not superior quality. Otherwise, I set a small SLR in dark places, cross my fingers and record until battery or recording time is kaput.

Although I found a way to flip it when converting the video itself to a webm, without having to use vlc player or shadow play but the one time it happened the webm that was made was too large to be posted on 4chan. I have tried everything to get it to happen again and it just doesn't come out right. It will flip the frame to be taller than it is wide but the video itself flips on its side for some reason. Otherwise I wouldn't have to be doing 2 extra steps.
