I would be OK with generals if people would let them die once in a while.
If you create a new thread as soon as the old one reaches the bump limit then 4chan is the wrong place for you and you should join a forum instead.
90% of each general thread is filled with the same people from the last thread.
Just go browse the homescreen/desktop general thread and you will see the same homescreens/desktops posted all the time for example.
