Hey guys. I've heard a million times loop flow doesn't matter, but, never got a direct answer to it this way. I'm planning to basically do what the set up is here, for a watercooling loop.

The plan is to go: pump/res combo -> QDC ->2 GPU's in parallel -> QDC -> CPU -> 360mm radiator -> 360mm radiator -> pump/res

Would I see a cooling/performance benefit if I went 2 GPU's -> Radiator -> CPU -> radiator, instead? If so, would it be significant or just a degree or two?

No idea why people would say that. Unless a vpn can provide a shorter route to the game servers than normal but that doesn't even make sense since that's the whole point of routers in the first place; to get to the destination in as short of a route as possible. why would one want to use something like MPD for music? as far as i can tell, it's only useful if you want to have multiple people connected to one stream

>>
>>55464132
Possible? Yes. Easy and cheap? No. They have a wireless hdmi standard, but it tends to be hella expensive. There's something called DLNA, but it's probably what your smart tv was using in the first place, and is more like setting a media player as a library server than outright viewing the contents of your computer. Otherwise you would have to run some kind of vnc server on your computer and have a cheaper computer or pi connected to your tv as a receiver. If you were running a chromebook or android you could mirror to a chromecast, but thats about it.

Uh, ok, I guess I'll just get a large HDMI since the TV is less than 10 meters, probably 6 meters from my PC. Is just in another room, and I've read some things about DLNA but I was already using that like you said. A friend of mine bought some kind of micro PC that gets plugged to the TV's HDMI.
I'll end using a large HDMI or that micro PC I guess. Thanks anon.

Can NOT figure this out
please help

Grafix card was idling at 45 since I got it, then for no reason it jumped to 55 one day, immediately after tuning on.

So I took it apart, gave it a good clean, replaced the paste and pads and put it back together.

Now it idles at 60.
Can't play games because it jumps up to 80, possibly higher.

I already have 4HDD+1SSD, and I'm in a position where I can get a ton of cheap enterprise drives. Probably going to buy 12-14 just in case, but I'll be using 10 at once.

No usb externals, or usbs flash drives fail on any port(differnt manufactures)
There are no drivers,beyond the basic hid usb drivers, as there at no specific drivers needed in linux for any mouse.

It won't escape your browser. It might steal all your typed passwords in the browser, scam or phish you, but nothing more than the browser allows.

Always look at the source code of the script, on the beggining there should be a block telling you on what sites given script is able to work. Don't use scripts that do something on all the sites you visit (It's http://*.* and https://*.* then).

I've used 1080p up close before, loved it as it was a massive step up from my shitty glossy laptop panel

I don't care about aesthetics on the 2nd screen, the nice one is obviously for productivity/gaming, the shitty one is to keep a wordprocessor, music player, chat open or whatever background tasks I have going on.

My desk is nice wood, but it is only 48 inches long - I suppose I could put the pc on the floor but it is carpeted and isn't that bad for the cooling?
I was going to get one nice one, and one shitty one so that everything would fit on the desk

Not exactly for the cooling but the dust would highly affect it.

You could buy a $130 1080p monitor and a cheap 4:3 monitor.

So before I used an amd quad core cpu with an r7 260x that could play most games on low with no real drawbacks and shit.

But now with my intel i5 and my r9 380x, the games that ran fine on low before now can barely run AT ALL.

yes, you can either

1) make an alias
Write
alias sshpi='ssh 1.2.3.4'
to the end of your ~/.bashrc

2) make a function
Write
sshpi() {
ssh 1.2.3.4
}
to the end of your ~/.bashrc

3) make an executable
as root, write
#!/bin/bash
ssh 1.2.3.4
to /usr/local/bin/sshpi
then set the executable bit -
chmod +x /usr/local/bin/sshpi

>>
>>55466438
It would be a good idea to start your build plans and maybe buy everything in around a month after the 1060 comes out.

By then you will have pretty decent options for new graphics cards and all the other parts don't really change throughout the year much anyway.

I would recommend waiting for the 1060 benchmarks to come out and then after that you can decide which gpu you want to get and start buying the parts.

I could really use some advice on my next music player purchase. I've got a 32 GB 4th Generation iPod touch that I've been using since 2010, and I'm finally deciding to upgrade since it's home button is broken and I'm having to delete some albums to make room for others. I'm not sure if I should pick up a Sony Walkman NW-A27HN 64 GB ($350), iPod Touch 6th Gen 128 GB ($400), or the Astell & Kern AK Jr. 64 GB ($400).

Both the Sony and the A&K have expandable storage, allowing them to equal and surpass the iPod's capacity. Quality of sound is a high priority for me, but so is the length of time I can listen to music. The main gripe I have with the A&K is that it allegedly only gets 9 hours of usage on a full battery, while the Sony has up to 50 hours, and the iPod gets something like 30-40 hours. I've heard that the Sony has issues with playlists and requires specific software to get songs/album art to display correctly, and obviously the iPod means I'll have to continue dealing with iTunes.

depends what kind of games you play and your budget. If you mostly play multiplayer competitive games I would go with 144Hz.
If you mostly play single player games or games that don't require very fast reactions then go with the 1440p - just make sure the gpu you're getting can run most games at 60fps at that frame rate.

For example most games I play are things like elder scrolls, fallout, doom, etc. Mostly single player games so it wouldn't really make sense for me to pick something with a higher refresh rate when 60 is enough.

What kind of information does a youtube account holder see on the people who watch private videos? You have to log in to see them.

I have been grabbing lectures with youtube-dl and I was a little worried the professor would see me watching them for 2 mins each when they are like 2 hours. Or a massive data/time spike.
>>
>>55466586
as far as I know there's no individual data that the uploader gets.
So he will see that someone only viewed the video for 2 minutes, but he won't know who it was.

Why would it matter anyway? It shouldn't be too hard to explain that you download his videos instead of watching them on the site.

I should be kicking myself for ever trying this, but I've got a problem.

I basically followed this video to disable all spyware Windows 10 dragged along with its fat bloated ass. I run a Pro version. Worked like a charm, except now I've got this stupid watermark on the bottom right hand of my screen permanently plastered there.

This wouldn't be such a problem if I was the only one who actually used this computer, other people apparently can't use their own shit and constantly have to come to me, and explaining what I tried to do to my family would be like pulling out teeth.

Should I just try to activate it at this point or leave it as is?
