Probably, not any worse than anything but stock android or CM. miui is actually pretty fucking good android experience. There are community roms that are apparently quite good. (haven't manged to unlock my bootloader yet so on the official global rom)

Name one. I haven't had mine long but first impressions is even if you stick with stock miui it's a incredible phone.

- Fast charging (battery life I will have use the phone longer to see, anons have vouched for it being solid though )

- Great screen (nicer than the nexus 5)

- phone is snapy as fuck. I loaded all the apps I use and it's just super super smooth. Nexus 5 was just not anywhere close to this ever.
The only complaint I have is unlocking the bootloader (and I have the code and everything, it's just not working - probably something I forgot to do) Other thing is the phone is a tad big for my liking but that probably just takes some getting used to. Browsing the web is way more tolerable on the larger screen.

I got them to use with a capture card. The quality fucking sucks and one was totally broke on arrival (opening it up the pcb was totally fucked up) Seller sent me another which worked fine. They are total garbage, but I didn't need a good picture out of them, just something good enough to use for ambient lights which it worked fine for. (PS4->hdmi spliter->mini converter->USB capture card->boblightd )
Fun fact, either the mini hdmi or the spliter totally strip HDCP.
