I believe the Fastest applications program in Windows 7 Intel i5 PC is the slowest file that you can execute on i7 x86 amd64, in other words you need at least 1024 gb of ssd, and a gigabit connection. You'll be able to download more ram, but that won't change your refresh rate. So you are pretty much fucked. I'm suggesting gentoo with i3, 3 times a day with extra sugar and a little bit of RMS. And remember there is no such thing as linux with GNU.
