I'm a 5S user and I think such a resolution for a new phone is retarded. Also the hand size thing seems to be some sort of dumb joke. Most of the people I've seen with massive phones are girls and men of completely average height. I just like having a phone which I can use in one hand without even stretching to reach corners.
