Help me out, /g/, I've been lurking for about two months, and I'm going to try building my own pc. Here's what I've got so far, tell me what I'm missing/ where I fucked up
http://pcpartpicker.com/list/XcdLkT
I want a pc that can play World of Warcraft and other Blizzard games better than my laptop
Here's Blizzard's recommended specs for the new expansion if it helps
https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/world-of-warcraft-legion
there's a stock cpu fan with intel cpu's, and it works damn well and you also don't need thermal paste because it has that pre applied. Smart choice on an H series motherboard but you don't need a gaming one. Just get one with the necessities. Anything that has 'gaming' on it is overpriced. (bullshit you're not telling me 1tb is only 46 dollars now my 300gb hard drive was like 150 fuck you and it was 5200rpm) I reccomend a quad core processor. To save on money, reduce your power supply to like 450 watts. I got a 700w and only need 450. Your CPU isn't going to carry your GPU by the way. If you want that kind of GPU you need a good cpu to go with it.
not OP but i figured this would be a good theard
could anyone please tell me if they see any issues with this build?
https://pcpartpicker.com/user/vasylus/saved/gvTdnQ
im not super experienced in this so any advice would be much appreciated
>>55289717
OP here, so I should drop the cooling fan? Should I keep it if I get a better CPU? I tried to follow the guide on Logical Increments
>>55288565
For budget PC's, I'd recommend going with AMD for CPU and GPU.
I'd recommend waiting for the RX 480. Will be worth the extra bit of money.
>>55289761
Don't get GTX 1070 Founders Edition.
It's more expensive, and worse.
>>55291457
Don't get an Nvidia® card.
They're more expensive, and worse.
Just kidding guys, the 1080 is unmatched.
If he had more ladders he would be able to climb. It kinda sounds like the current state of technology. "JUST THROW MORE LADDERS!"
>>55289761
Get an aftermarket 1070. One that has a good cooler. You'll get huge overclocks even from GPU boost you get 1950+MHz at low temps. Leaving manual OC room or keeping it silent.
Upgrade your power supply. Do NOT buy that one. Do not budget your power supply. Make sure you get at least a top tier PSU, Google the tier list and make sure you get tier 1 or 2, around 550w.
I'm not sure about that CPU cooler but skylake runs very well anyway, but that's up to your budget to decide
>>55288565
>i3
You could probably get away with the skull canyon nuc. Depends on what your laptop specs are.
>>55292677
>Just throw more pajeets at the problem
Don't need CPU cooler, get better PSU
>>55291371
You don't really need a better fan unless you're going to overclock. This also applies to better CPU's. You should really consider an i5 or smth.
My 8-year PC can handle WoW, and it's a cheap budget build. You'd have to seriously screw up a PC build that can't run WoW.
motherboard supports 8Gb of total ram, should i buy 4ssticks of 2Gb or 2 sticks of 4Gb in case i upgrade the motherboard to 16Gb one?
Hey /g/guys, I was wondering of this bulid has any issues
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/
Already have the PSU (700 watt) and no optical drive using a USB flash drive to boot up windows 10 (newfag for 4chan
>tfw failed dramatically at building a pc
>"its just electronic legos anon"
Fuck you
Don't mean to hijack your thread OP but, I've been trying to build a PC for a while and this is what I got

Not experienced in the slightest, was wondering if you guys can tell me how much I fucked up

>>55298064
How bad is it? Is it still as bad as Windows 8?
>>55288565
>"Never be enough"
>If he had enough ladders the pile would be big enough for him to climb over the wall, he could probably climb over now on top of that hill
>Fuck you
>>55297774
you fucked up 1/4 of your parts
Don't buy Windows 10
Pirate an OEM Windows 7 x64 Ultimate iso
Try out Libre Office before you buy Microsoft Office
>mini-ITX for ATX tower Mid-tower
If the only reason you're getting the Mini ITX board is for its built in Wifi Adapter
You're better off getting the MSI B150A and ordering an AC compatible WiFi adapter
and the motherboard only supports up to DDR4-2133
not the DDR4-2400 that you're getting, it will still work though
swap the Seagate drive for a WD Blue 2TB WD20EZRZ as the Seagate drive you choose has worse reviews than this WD drive
as for the cpu cooler get the Cooler Master Hyper 212, has the best deal

2x4gb sticks to = 8gb. That will run best and give you upgrade headroom.
Your other option is to just buy 1x8gb stick and then another when you want 16gb.
Doesn't run as well as 2x4gb, around 10-15% worse, but the real difference noticed is miniscule; None of this shit really matters.
>>55298413
Alright, I updated my parts.
http://pcpartpicker.com/list/gHMXHN
How's it look?
>>55298681
Looks good to me
Though you MIGHT want to order some Arctic Silver if your order doesn't come with any thermal paste
>>55299178
Nice, I'll check it out.
Thanks a bunch anon.
>>55289717
Newegg has 960gb ssds for 200$ now anon.
>>55288565
OP's image is a mixed message at best. The User threw a shit load of Ladder at their Wall problem and can now See over it. A single instance of Ladder would have been much wiser but still, they can See over.

R8 it, m8s

It's a good build if you've got the dosh to spend (which I assume you do)
>>55298283
Install a linux distro and start your journey into the tech world
>>55288565
WoW and MMORPGs in general are CPU heavy games
Get an i5/i7 and a worse GPU.
>>55288565
>will never be enough
that's not true though, if you have infinite resources then you can brute force everything, much like how if the guy in the picture could just keep stacking ladders and get over the wall in the end.
>>55298413
>Don't buy windows 10, use windows 7 instead :))))
>Libreoffice being anywhere close to as good as office
It's always funny when memekids like yourself think you know shit about computers just because other people force fed you their opinions.
H-here I go!
http://pcpartpicker.com/list/cHz6XH
Really don't want to break 850 if I can help it. I spilled coffee on my laptop of 7 years so I'm now forced to build the computer I've always wanted.
Thanks /g/uys
a friend recommended I go with a SSD
