I don't really agree about the self taught path around these parts. For every self taught person I work with there are at least 20-30 or even more college introduced. Yes it is possible, but most people here don't have that kind of discipline and why make it more difficult for yourself?

Or you could just be a reasonable adult and research things before believing what any one person says, anonymous or not.
