Lacking a microsd card slot does not make a phone shitty. The nexus 5 doesn't have on and its probably the best android phone out there.
Micro sd is dead in phones and it's not coming back. You can only get in chink phones and very niche phones now. No flagship is going to have it ever again.
They want to push cloud storage and normies don't care about expandable storage.
They also want to try to push you to newer models of phones. The goal is planned obsolescence

The one plus 2 had something similar. When the OS detected certain apps like Chrome were running, it would throttle the CPU and make performance shit. That's an addition to the 810 throttle issue.
