Are these memory core fluctuations normal? This is happening when browsing the internet with firefox. The one part where the core clock spikes up is when I opened a video. Why the fuck is the memory clock spiking up and down even when I am doing basically nothing?

It's not spiking, it's resuming normal operation. Any time you're not using the gpu it clocks down to save power.

yes, but why does it shoot up to 1500 in the first place? When playing games it is at a constant 1500 because of the workload. When browsing the web, should it really need to be that high?
