I am making my old-ish stereo Bluetooth capable by connecting the RPi to the RCA jacks (audio) through a converter, soldering on an IR LED to the GPIO pins, and installing Bluetooth on it so it automatically:
turns on the stereo
changes to the input that the RPi is connected to
turns the volume up all of the way
turn down the volume and turn off the stereo when I disconnect the device automatically
The only thing I need are IR codes for the stereo (Sony STR-K660P). I can post progress pics and start making it when I get those codes.
