I've been using a Lenovo K3 Note for a year now and it's been excellent value for the money but now I've got my eyes on the Oneplus 3. Thing is, I'm not sure if I can justify upgrading. I use my phone for music mostly, have the slowest 3G connection possible too. I'd lose 16 gb storage, but that's not a huge loss. My main issue with the K3 Note is that the 2GB RAM gets used up surprisingly quickly. Performance is alright but the Oneplus has 3x the singlethreaded performance which would be quite the boost.

G4 is mediocre. LG V10 is great. Moto X Pure is the best 810/808 price performance wise of last year besides the Asus Zenfone ZE551ML. Moto's should be around 300 or less at this point.

2014 moto /g/ is still kickin except it recently stopped recognizing my IME+mic, stuck with just a shitty pair of Sony IMEs now.. Technically it does work, but it's not that great of a charge. It wears off faster than normal charging.
Also be REALLY careful not to overheat. Once the phone gets too hot to hold in your hand, you've charged it enough.

Battery life for me is stellar, but I bought an aftermarket battery that upgrades it to 8500 mAh. As far as how much battery it uses, it's mid-tier. Not awesome but not awful. I charge once every 3.5 days on average, on stock battery it was a charge each night for best comfort or you could stretch it to 2 days
