I must've misread about the NCase size somewhere.

Either way, I believe it's still roughly the size of something like the Phanteks Evolv ITX or smaller than the NZXT Manta, with great build quality. Might be a worth-while upgrade.

I think this photo is an early rendition/production demo of the case.
>>
>>55041319
Yeah, that's the Nova, which was slightly smaller (~17L, IIRC).

The Evolv ITX is quite a bit bigger (34L), and close to the Prodigy with the handles (36L). The Prodigy excluding the handles is only 26L though.

The Manta is absolute massive by comparison, at 47L.
>>
>>55041087
The HDD cage is "floating" because I didn't want to obstruct the airflow
>>
>>55041381
Yeah. I looked into a few other mATX cases, but I can't find any with the following criteria:

>At least one 3.5" HDD bay
>One, or two, 2.5" bays
>Support for 2x 240mm radiators
>A nice windows, and pretty good build quality.
>As small as possible while doing so.

Some cases say they support 2x 240mm radiators, but they don't really do it well enough to make it actually happen it seems.

I don't believe it's possible to install a 3.5" HDD in the Cerberus at the same time as two 240mm rads. Also the PSU location will block much of the motherboard from view, making a window a bit pointless.
>>
>>55041824
I was going to use a rear, externally mounter pump/reservoir combo on where the PSU bracket is in this image. In place of where the pump and reservoir is, is where the SFX PSU would go. Then, I planned to use their 3.5" bracket on the side-mounts with the hinge.

>>55041898
So the PSU would be attached directly to the front rad, using the airflow from its fan? Reminds me of pic related. There's not a lot of ahead of the motherboard in the Cerberus, but I suppose it could work if you decased the PSU to reduce the total rad+fan+PSU thickness.

>>55041919
Supposedly they're working with their manufacturer to make it available on a limited basis.

Ok /g/uts, im feeling Blue but in a good way. What do you think of my shitposting machine build?

http://pcpartpicker.com/list/YpJgsJ

This will be a long term project, as i am broke as shit due to the wonderful 320$ a week paychecks.

I think first im going to buy the motherboard, so im locked in with the processor, then the processor and ram, then case and PSU, finally ill get GPU, hard drive, and acessories like the fan and a proper cooler, etc.

Im looking for blue stuff, blue fans, blue SSD's, whatever's blue, no LED's, i just want it to look blue when i open it up, not be emanating blue all over the place

3) works better than anything else ive owned

If I have a video card that intakes directly from outside air, say like the RVZ01 case, would it benefit any of I had two fans blowing directly into it?

I guess this could be right thread to ask:

Whats the actual difference between Z170 and Z170A motheboards? I mean, I kinda plan to buy new PC around late July, already setting up my mind on i7-6700K and RX480, but I was wondering about motherboard and if I can save some money on other parts.

Also, assuming that I wont overlock, what PSU I need at least? Would 500W one be enough?

are there any mATX cases that have 6+ ssd slots?

Johnny Guru review of it basically showed it didnt meet 80+ gold spec like they claim and the internal build quality was pretty garbage.

I hope you didn't pay retail for that piece of shit. I'm pretty sure they were asking ~$280 back in the day when it was new, which was a complete rip off.

Not that guy obviously, but I don't understand how this image relates to his setup? What am I missing on what this image shows vs. how he installed it?
>>
>>55057416
He's got the tubing connected to what looks like a fill/drain port at one end of the radiator, so the coolant is not flowing through half the rad.

>5930k
>single GPU
>only a single small RAID array
>not using any other PCIe devices

why did you buy the 5930k...?

The 5820k is the same CPU for $200 less as long as you dont run 3 GPUs or a HUGE number of PCIe devices. Which you're not, you have a single GPU.

Not much, just buy whatever motherboard has what you need. It's that simple.

Some people might want specific connectors, or need USB 3.1, or different audio, SLI, USB type C..All small differences to fit different needs

I just wanted to know, if "A" have some features I might missed, since it cost more.

The only thing about motherobard Im interested in is, aside from at least one USB 3.0 (my docking station for harddrives use it, right now I connect it via adapter to 2.0, since my current mobo dont have one) is this Auto-Tune function I heard about. Im too afraid to overclock manually, but if motherboard itself would do some safe gains for me, I would be pretty happy.

Also, I still dont know about PSU, to be more precise - how powerful I really need. Those listed at logicalincrements (Seasonic) are pretty expensive where I live. Also, would I really need those 600W ones or 500W are fine too?
>>
>>55057474

Ohhhh, I just figured it had a port on each end, didn't think he was cutting it in half basically. That seems like it would cause noticeable problems.

what the hell is the point of an 8-16gb ssd, actual question. i've seen them in some computers, but that's hardly enough for a windows install.
is the price difference that great that you wouldn't just get a 128?

Op here

The motherboard was broken, but when I returned it I accidently left the Hyper stock cooler on. Now I'm using my old fx6300 with a stock cooler

Probably because you're mostly asking questions that can be googled.

Just use this as a guide http://www.logicalincrements.com/
>>
>>55061797

I said before that I was looking at logical increments, but Im not sure about certain parts. I mentioned how some parts, especailly PSU, are MUCH more expensive where I live, so I wanted to know, if I can simply get cheapter 500W PSU instead of 650W one from same tier as CPU Im about to get (i7-6700K). Cases listed are not even shipped here.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/

Pc Part Picker has a wattage function, pick out all the parts you want, fans drives, ram, cpu, gpu. It will tell you how many watts it should draw, and then you can figure out what size PSU to get.

Regarding your Overclock worries, I have the 6600K and was a little nervous and was only using my MBs built in OC feature that OC'd it from 3.5 to 4.1, then realized it has auto voltage mode, so all I had to do was increase core clock multiplier and it would automatically adjust the voltage as needed, super easy.

Seriously the 5+1 power phase should scare people off, yet still the retards buy it.

Wait for non-reference designs with 8+2 or 10+2 power phase and an 8+6 Pin PCIe power for higher OCs.

Decided against jumping to a 4790k/6700k. Going to stick with my i5 and wait for am4/Zen. I said I'd give AMD a chance to prove themselves, so I will.

After looking at r9 390X prices, I could return my 980ti classy and get 2 sapphire 390Xs for the same price. ($350 each). Would you /g/?
