Just built something very similar, still waiting for the GTX 1080 to arrive though.

I went for the Define S. It's the exact same case without the drive bays so you get better cooling and the NH-D15 instead.

Blisteringly fast. Just be aware that Corsair RAM and the MOBO you chose don't really play well together. You might want to go for Kingston.

change the board and processor, go with the x99

Looks solid. Not sure about the PSU though, I would have just went with an EVGA G2 also maybe get a noctua dh15

The PSU is nearly identical to EVGA G2, but the fan needs to work less, so it should make less noise.

Scared of Noctua DH15, retailers don't ship prebuilts with it here due to the risk of it breaking off during delivery, since it's so big and heavy.

I'm building this computer myself but I would fear going to LANs with it.

OP do you really need a $2,000 computer? What are you going to use the i7 for that an i5 couldn't?

6600k would bring it down to about 1889 USD

6700k won't bottleneck my next graphics card purchase in a few years and has slightly higher performance for games
